It seems like just a month ago you had to use stepping stones to cross the Paluxy river as it flowed through Dinosaur Valley State Park, but Summer heat has taken its toll.  I always liked the rugged rocky landscapes of this area as a kid, tubing the Brazos, wading in the Paluxy and when I moved back to Texas is was definitely an area I wanted to explore again.
